Required Skills & Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Python Backend Developer

• Strong proficiency in Python and backend frameworks (FastAPI, Flask, etc.)

• Solid hands-on experience with AWS services (e.g., EC2, Lambda, ECS, S3, RDS, DynamoDB)

• Production experience with LLMs (commercial and/or open-source models)

• Strong expertise in the LangStack ecosystem, including:

  • LangChain

  • LangGraph

  • Agent orchestration, tool calling, and prompt chaining

• Hands-on experience with Datadog for:

  • Application performance monitoring (APM)

  • Logging and metrics\

  • Alerting and dashboards

• Experience integrating AI Engineering technologies, such as:

  • Vector databases and embeddings o Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)

  • Model evaluation and prompt testing frameworks

  • Caching and cost-optimization strategies for LLMs

• Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases

• Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud deployment workflows

Nice to Have

• Experience with vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, FAISS, OpenSearch, etc.)

• Familiarity with LLM observability and evaluation tools (e.g., LangSmith, OpenTelemetry, custom eval pipelines)

• Knowledge of MLOps or AI platform tooling

• Experience with event-driven or serverless architectures\

• Awareness of emerging trends in LLMs, agentic systems, and AI infrastructure

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Python

• Build, deploy, and operate cloud-native applications on AWS

• Develop and productionize LLM-based applications using LangChain, LangGraph, and related frameworks

• Design agentic workflows, chains, and tool integrations using LangStack components

• Integrate LLMs with APIs, databases, vector stores, and external services

• Implement robust monitoring, logging, and alerting using Datadog

• Ensure system reliability, performance, and cost efficiency in production

• Apply AI Engineering best practices including prompt versioning, evaluation, guardrails, and model observability

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate product requirements into technical solutions

• Write clean, testable, and well-documented code

• Participate in architectural decisions and code reviews

• Debug, optimize, and continuously improve existing systems
