Procurement Associate

We are looking for a person who is passionate about collectively overcoming complex challenges of the hyper-growth e-commerce ecosystem, while learning fast and having fun, to join us as a Procurement Associate.

This full-time role is based in Mandaluyong City on a full-time on-site work arrangement.

Responsibilities

• Help locate the best quality products at the most favorable purchase price, and calculate costs, margins, profits and formulas.
• Maintain positive relationships with growers, wholesalers and carriers.
• Assist with looking for new suppliers.
• Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers.
• Solve any problems arising from product quality or availability with a positive attitude, tact and diplomacy, to achieve the best possible outcome.
• Inform the Corporate Sales and Commercial Team about market availability on a regular basis.
• Maintain regular contact with the purchasing manager, marketing staff, field office staff and other purchasing staff.
• Other tasks that may be assigned.
  
  

• Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineer or any related course.
• At least 1 year experience in Procurement or any other related position.
• Knowledge of Microsoft programs or Google applications.
• Excellent communication skills both written and oral.
• Can handle pressure.
