What is this role about?

The Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) Technician is responsible for inspecting and preparing vehicles before they are delivered to customers, ensuring they meet manufacturer standards and are free of defects. The PDI Technician is also in charge of managing units from preparation to release, inspecting the vehicles, keeping them tidy in the stockyard, and pulling out vehicles from Sta. Rosa or other dealers as needed. Additionally, they are responsible for delivering units to customers.

What will YOU do?

• Deliver vehicles to customers in a timely and professional manner
• Conduct comprehensive inspections to ensure that all vehicles meet the manufacturer’s standards before delivery to customers
• Test drive vehicles to ensure all systems, including safety features, are fully functional and in optimal condition
• Manage units from preparation to release, including inspecting vehicles, keeping them tidy in the stockyard, and ensuring proper vehicle storage and handling
• Retrieve vehicles from dealers as needed to meet inventory requirements and ensure availability of vehicles for delivery
• Identify defects or issues with the vehicle’s systems and components, including engine, transmission, suspension, and electrical systems, and perform necessary repairs or adjustments to meet required specifications and quality standards
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, adjustments, and any changes to the vehicle's service history for future reference and customer communication
• Ensure that all work adheres to safety regulations, and that vehicles are compliant with relevant industry standards
• Collaborate with the service team to ensure the proper scheduling and completion of inspections and repairs in a timely manner
• Ensure that the work area is clean and organized
  
  

• At least 1-2 years of experience in vehicle inspection, maintenance, or a related technical field
• Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment
• Knowledge of vehicle systems, including electrical, mechanical, and safety components
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defects.
• Basic knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance procedures
