SNAPSHOT OF THE ROLE
The People Partner works closely with business leaders to deliver people strategies that drive engagement, performance, and retention. Reporting to the People Partner – Senior Manager, this role serves as a trusted advisor to assigned business units, balancing employee advocacy with business needs while ensuring compliance with company policies and labor standards.
Business & People Partnership
Partner with leaders and managers to deliver people plans aligned with business and HR strategies.
Provide coaching and guidance on performance management, employee development, engagement, and workforce movements (promotion, transfer, resignation, etc.).
Build strong stakeholder relationships through proactive consultation, issue resolution, and influence.
Employee Relations & Discipline
Lead and manage employee relations concerns, including counseling, investigations, and disciplinary processes.
Conduct administrative investigations related to Code of Conduct violations and recommend appropriate actions based on company policy.
Draft and manage ER documentation (e.g., Notices to Explain, Conferences, Decisions, Preventive Suspension).
Support leaders in handling ER cases effectively while strengthening their accountability and capability.
Engagement, Retention & Culture
Drive initiatives that promote employee engagement, retention, and a positive employee experience.
Coordinate and support employee engagement programs, surveys, focus groups, and exit interviews.
Promote a culture of collaboration, respect, and open communication across assigned teams.
Policy, Compliance & Governance
Ensure consistent application and compliance with HR policies, procedures, and labor regulations.
Identify policy gaps and contribute to the development or enhancement of HR policies and guidelines.
Facilitate policy briefings and orientations for managers and supervisors.
Uphold information security and data privacy standards in all HR processes.
Continuous Improvement
Gather employee and stakeholder feedback to improve HR services and people programs.
Proactively flag people risks, trends, or issues that may impact business performance.
a Bit About You
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business, or a related field; advanced studies or HR certifications are an advantage.
At least 3 years of relevant experience in a People Partner, HR Business Partner, or Employee Relations role.
Strong working knowledge of Philippine labor laws, including DOLE advisories and compliance requirements.
Demonstrated experience managing employee relations cases, investigations, and disciplinary processes with sound judgment and confidentiality.
Ability to balance employee advocacy and business needs while maintaining fairness and consistency.
Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and conflict resolution skills.
Effective communicator with the ability to influence, coach, and collaborate with leaders and employees at all levels.
Highly organized and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Proactive, adaptable, and solutions-oriented, with a continuous improvement mindset.
Digitally proficient and comfortable using HR systems, collaboration tools, and standard productivity platforms.

Assigned teams meet or exceed People KPIs and SLAs (e.g., Retention, HR Services, Employee Engagement, Process and Improvement Initiatives).

Feedback from employees and leaders shows clarity, trust, and effective communication.
