What are we looking for?

Essential

Skills Required:

• 3-5 years of experience in a systems administration or infrastructure support role
• Solid hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, including virtual machines, networking, storage, and Azure AD
• Strong Windows Server administration skills including Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and Active Directory
• Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration across Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, and Intune
• Networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, firewalls, VLANs, VPNs, and DNS
• Scripting capability in PowerShell for automation and administration tasks
• A methodical, documentation-first approach with strong attention to detail
  
  

Highly Regarded

• Experience with Intune and Autopilot for modern device management at scale
• Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tooling such as Bicep, Terraform, or ARM templates
• Exposure to ITIL-aligned service management practices and ITSM toolsets
• Experience in a manufacturing, FMCG, or retail environment
• Microsoft certifications such as AZ-104, MS-102, or equivalent
  
  

What will you do?

Infrastructure Operations and Administration

• Administer and maintain Windows Server environments, including patching, hardening, and performance monitoring
• Manage Azure cloud infrastructure including virtual machines, storage, networking, and identity services
• Support Microsoft 365 administration including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, and Intune-based device management
• Monitor infrastructure health using appropriate tooling, respond to alerts, and resolve issues within agreed service levels
• Maintain accurate infrastructure documentation including topology diagrams, asset registers, and runbooks
  
  

Networking and Security

• Administer network infrastructure including firewalls, switches, VLANs, VPNs, and DNS/DHCP services
• Support identity and access management including Active Directory, Azure AD, and role-based access controls
• Contribute to vulnerability management activities including patching cadence, security scanning, and remediation tracking
• Follow and help mature the organisations Secure by Design principles and infrastructure security baseline
  
  

End-User Computing and Support

• Provide Tier 2/3 escalation support for end-user computing issues across hardware, software, and connectivity
• Manage device lifecycle including provisioning, configuration, and decommissioning via Intune and Autopilot
• Maintain standard operating environments and software deployment packages
• Collaborate with the helpdesk and application support teams to resolve cross-functional issues efficiently
  
  

Projects and Continuous Improvement

• Contribute to infrastructure projects including migrations, upgrades, and platform consolidations
• Identify opportunities to automate routine tasks using PowerShell, Azure Automation, or Logic Apps
• Support disaster recovery and business continuity processes including backup validation and failover testing
• Produce clear documentation and knowledge articles to uplift team capability and reduce repeat incidents
