Job Description

The HR Manager should possess a diverse skill set in order to support multiple areas of Human Resources throughout the organization within our international offices.  The position requires involvement with sensitive and confidential information and considerable use of tact, discretion and judgment. A strong background in employment law and employee relations is essential as this candidate will partner with HR leadership to develop and execute various initiatives both locally and on a global scale.  The HR Manager should be able to communicate effectively and deliver valuable services to all groups within the organization.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Represent the HR department locally while rolling out initiatives created at a global level.
  • Provide HR support to global leaders in all areas of Human Resources including recruitment, performance management, benefits & compensation administration, and employee relations.
  • Provide guidance and direction to employees and management on various HR related topics and respond to escalated HR issues and concerns.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with all levels of management to provide necessary coaching, guidance and support. 
  • Manage recruitment process, including job postings, screening and interviewing for country specific hiring.
  • Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources.
  • Subject matter expert with employment law in the Philippines.
  • Work with members of HR team to ensure MedRisk policies and procedures are in compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Support alignment with corporate culture. Model established values and behaviors.
  • Support HR leadership to ensure all country-wide initiatives are in line with corporate culture.
  • Additional tasks and projects as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Degree in Human Resources or relevant area of study, plus 7-10 years’ experience in a diverse HR role, working in a fast-paced environment (medium size company preferred)
  • Experience working with US companies on a global platform
  • Strong employee relations background to manage issues on many employment related topics
  • Ability to conduct briefings or trainings on various HR topics such as performance management and other development programs
  • Strong communication skills, verbal and written, to support correspondence and/or development of departmental communications
  • Must be fluent in English
  • Sound critical thinking and problem solving abilities
  • Detail oriented with solid organizational skills
  • Ability to work closely with a global team
  • Experience with various HRIS systems, ADP Workforce Now a plus
  • Must be willing to accommodate a hybrid work environment
