Job Overview

To help people achieve fitness goals, regain independence, manage chronic conditions, and improve their overall physical function and quality of life.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Conduct initial exams, assess medical history, and use tests to identify movement dysfunctions.
• Develop individualized plans to improve range of motion, strength, flexibility, and function, often aiming to reduce reliance on surgery or drugs.
• Administer hands-on therapy, guide patients through exercises (stretching, strengthening), and use modalities like ultrasound or electrical stimulation.
• Teach patients and families proper exercise techniques, injury prevention, and strategies for managing conditions at home.
• Regularly evaluate treatment effectiveness, adjust plans as needed, and document outcomes.
• Work with doctors, nurses, and other professionals to coordinate care.
• Maintain accurate patient records, treatment notes, progress reports and prepare billing/SOA
• Operate and maintain therapy equipment.
• Determine when a patient is ready to complete treatment.
  
  

Qualifications

• A Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy (BSPT)
• Passed the Physical Therapist Licensure Examination (PTLE) administered by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC).
• Competencies to assess, diagnose, plan, and implement treatment programs, focusing on movement and function.
  
  

Practice Areas.

• With at least 6 months experience working in hospitals, clinics, rehabilitation centers, schools, sports facilities, and more, treating conditions from neurological (stroke) to orthopedic (fractures).
