Brief Job Description
The CI Automation Developer will:
Support North America Services by designing, developing, and deploying AI, RPA, and workflow automation solutions that streamline internal processes and enhance operational efficiency. The role includes building business‑specific Generative AI chatbots, integrating APIs across systems, and developing end‑to‑end RPA automations. The Automation Developer collaborates with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions, participates in innovation activities such as AI hackathons, and contributes to the continuous improvement of the organization’s automation and DevOps practices.

- AI, Intelligent Automation & Solution Development
- Design, develop, and deploy automation solutions using Generative AI, Agentic AI, and LLM‑based architectures.
- Build business‑specific Generative AI chatbots to streamline internal workflows.
- Develop intelligent agents and workflows using Model Context Protocol (MCP) to connect AI systems with enterprise data sources and tools.
- Apply machine learning fundamentals to refine model behavior and improve solution accuracy.
- Design, develop, test, and deploy RPA solutions using Power Automate or similar platforms.
- Secure access to required systems, environments, and test data to support development work.
- Provide post‑implementation support to ensure proper performance and issue resolution.
- Systems Integration, API Development & Technical Delivery
- Lead process discovery to analyze business workflows, assess automation suitability, and recommend the appropriate automation strategy.
- Develop, integrate, and maintain APIs to enable secure communication between applications, AI systems, and RPA workflows.
- Translate business requirements into solution designs, architecture diagrams, and detailed technical specifications.
- Produce project documentation including PDDs, SDDs, process maps, and testing artifacts.
- Review and validate solution designs with project and business teams to ensure alignment and feasibility.
- Conduct unit, integration, and user acceptance testing to ensure solution accuracy, stability, and security.
- Deploy automation solutions using DevOps best practices, ensuring smooth transition to production.
- Collaboration, Project Management & Continuous Improvement
- Serve as technical project manager for automation initiatives, ensuring smooth planning, coordination, risk management, and delivery across teams.
- Partner with business stakeholders, IT teams, and process owners to maintain alignment on requirements, timelines, and expectations.
- Prepare and deliver presentations, demos, and reports to communicate solution progress, results, and recommendations.
- Participate in hackathons, innovation sprints, and POCs to explore new automation and AI capabilities.
- Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of AI, RPA, and DevOps practices, including governance frameworks, reusable components, templates, and development standards.
- Support knowledge sharing and change management to promote adoption of automation solutions.
Qualifications
Required/ Minimum Qualifications:
- At least 7 years of experience in designing, developing, and deploying RPA solutions using Power Automate or similar automation platforms.
- Proficiency with automation and development technologies, including scripting languages (Node.js, PowerShell, Python), programming languages (Java, C++, etc.), and no‑code/low‑code tools such as Microsoft Power Platform.
- Hands‑on experience building business‑specific Generative AI chatbots, integrating APIs, and creating automation solutions using agentic AI and generative AI (e.g., through hackathons or innovation programs).
- Strong background in designing and implementing end‑to‑end RPA and workflow automation solutions aligned to business requirements.
- Very good communication skills in English, both verbal and written, with strong business writing capability.
- Excellent planning, organizational, time management, and technical documentation skills, including process mapping and requirements documentation.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and other Microsoft Office productivity tools.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent
- Microsoft Power Platforms Fundamentals (PL-900) Certified
- Preferred certificate in LLM/AI.
