Be part of our clients team as a FileMaker Administrator & Developer, managing and optimizing FileMaker Server and Pro environments. You will handle system administration, create custom solutions, enhance scripting and layouts, maintain data accuracy, support integrations, and ensure secure, efficient workflows that strengthen high-volume operational performance across logistics-driven processes.

The Qualifications We Seek

Background & Experience

• 2-3 years of hands-on FileMaker administration and development experience in a business or technical environment
• Prior experience building, maintaining, and supporting FileMaker-based business solutions
• Exposure to business system integrations or custom database development projects
• FileMaker certification preferred but not required
  
  

Technical Skills

• Proven experience in FileMaker Pro and FileMaker Server administration, including configuration, deployment, and maintenance
• Proficiency in FileMaker scripting, layout design, and calculation fields
• Familiarity with FileMaker developer tools, plugins, and API integrations
• Strong understanding of relational database design, structure, and optimization
  
  

Your Daily Tasks

System Administration

• Manage FileMaker Server and Pro environments, ensuring uptime and performance
• Configure user accounts, roles, and permissions
• Monitor system backups, updates, and troubleshoot issues
  
  

Development & Customization

• Design and maintain FileMaker solutions
• Write and update scripts and developer code
• Integrate FileMaker with third-party apps or APIs
• Document configurations, workflows, and custom scripts
  
  

Data Management

• Ensure accuracy of FileMaker databases
• Support staff with data entry and governance standards
• Run queries, create reports, and provide insights
  
  

User Support & Training

• Provide first-level user support
• Develop training materials and conduct training sessions
• Collaborate with teams for process improvements and system enhancements
