Job Description
- Electrical Wiring and Termination: Perform wire checking, termination, and labeling according to electrical schematics.
- Cable Management: Install, pull, lay, and secure electrical cables, ensuring compliance with electrical codes and site standards.
- Conduit Installation: Measure, bend, thread, cut, and install conduits (EMT, IMC, PVC, and flexible conduits).
- Panel Assembly: Build and install control panels, distribution boards, and motor control centers (MCC).
- Troubleshooting and Maintenance: Diagnose, repair, and maintain electrical systems, including motors, drives, and control circuits.
- Installation and Commissioning: Assist in the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems and equipment.
- Blueprint and Schematic Interpretation: Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and single-line diagrams.
- Preventive Maintenance: Perform regular inspections and maintenance on electrical systems to prevent breakdowns.
- Instrumentation Work: Install and calibrate sensors, relays, switches, and control devices as required.
- Adherence to Codes and Standards: Ensure all work complies with relevant safety and electrical codes (e.g., NEC, IEC).
- Must possess an NCII Certificate in Electrical Installation and Maintenance or equivalent.
- Experience in industrial environments is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of industrial motors, control systems, PLCs, and electrical drives.
- Ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, and control diagrams.
- Familiarity with safety standards (e.g., OSHA) and electrical codes.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
