Job Description

As a Credit Analyst, you will review credit applications, analyze financial data, assess credit risk, and provide recommendations on loan approvals, denials, or alternative loan structures.

This role plays a critical role in lending operations by ensuring loan applications are assessed accurately, risks are evaluated properly, and lending decisions are aligned with financial policies and regulations.

Employment type: Full time

Shift: Night shift. Training is 9 AM to 5 PM EST, Monday to Friday for 6 weeks; work schedule may be flexible with days off based on operational needs (may work on weekends and holidays), Consecutive off

Work setup: Permanent Work From Home/100% Remote

Salary: PHP 35,000.00

The Qualifications We Seek

• 3-5 years of experience in credit analysis, lending, financial analysis, or a related finance role
• Strong analytical and financial skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, management, and other stakeholders
• Knowledge of lending regulations and compliance requirements
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
  
  

Your Daily Tasks

• Analyze credit applications to determine the borrowers ability to pay back the loan
• Review and verify financial statements, credit reports, and other financial data to assess the borrowers creditworthiness
• Identify and evaluate the risks associated with each loan application
• Determine the loan amount and terms of repayment based on the borrowers financial situation and risk profile
• Provide recommendations to management on loan approvals, denials, or alternative loan structures
• Keep abreast of changes in lending regulations and best practices in credit analysis
• Participate in training and development programs to improve job performance and knowledge
