AU Bookkeeper AU Accounting Firm Hybrid

Schedule: Monday - Friday (6:00 AM - 3:00 PM PHT)

We are a growing Australian accounting and advisory firm seeking an experienced Team Leader to oversee our offshore bookkeeping team.

This role will lead a team of four Bookkeepers and be responsible for workflow management, client delivery deadlines, onboarding new clients, and continuously improving systems and processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and support a team of 4 Bookkeepers
• Manage workflow, capacity planning and client delivery schedules
• Ensure work is completed accurately and on time
• Oversee onboarding of new bookkeeping clients
• Develop and maintain SOPs, workflows and process documentation
• Drive operational improvements and automation opportunities
• Liaise with the Australian leadership team on priorities and resourcing
• Maintain quality control across the bookkeeping function
  
  

• 5+ years bookkeeping or accounting experience
• Previous team leadership or supervisory experience
• Experience servicing Australian accounting clients
• Strong Xero knowledge (experience with add-ons such as Deputy, Hubdoc and Dext highly regarded)
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• Strong process improvement and problem-solving abilities
