Role Overview

  • Manages product lifecycle and identifies relevant market, touchpoints, business and customer dynamics (through the use of various data, researches and insighting tools) in the creation of go-to-market plans in the assigned region.
  • Develops brand vision, short / long-term growth strategies and architecture, and identifies new ideas, areas for improvement, or alternative solutions.
  • Ensures sustainable business growth and strengthening of brand equity over time.
  • Manages commercialization of new solutions for the core business, including post-launch reviews if necessary.
  • Executes end-to-end business planning and management for the assigned product (such as marketing, demand/supply chain, financials).
  • Effectively manages resources and evaluates financial impact of brand plans.
  • Continuously identifies and pursues opportunities to deliver cost efficiencies / business results and optimizes brand profitability.
  • Develops market and customer understanding in the region through regular and proactive engagements with local customers, accounts and area partners as input to regional strategies and plans. Creates and maintains productive and beneficial network in the area (trade accounts, local media stations, suppliers and others)
  • Supports the mainstream brand in regionalizing their engagement and capturing the nuances inside the territory.
  • Implements informal insighting and researches for both corporate and regional brand in the area.

Required Qualifications

  • Attained bachelor’s degree in any business or marketing-related course
  • With at least three (3) years solid brand management /marketing experience preferably from pharmaceuticals, FMCG, telco, fin-tech/e-commerce
  • Must have passion for Brand Development, Digital, Activation and Strategy; with intermediate understanding of digital marketing & e-commerce- including media placements, creatives development and KPI measurement
  • Must be positive, assertive yet empathetic leadership, with exceptional soft skills to enable delivery through high degrees of collaboration and partnership, especially in the regions and among agencies and multifunctional teams
  • With high commitment to work on multiple projects, learn fast and deliver quickly
  • Willing to take on a stretch assignment, must be agile and can quickly adapt to change
  • Willing to adjust to a process-oriented, highly structured and regulated category
  • Experience on local/regional (PH) marketing will be a plus
  • Based in or with work experience in Southern Mindanao, preferably Davao, is an advantage.
