Application Support Engineer

Act as software detectives, provide a dynamic service identifying and solving issues within multiple components of critical business systems.

Summary: As an Application Support Engineer, a typical day involves investigating and diagnosing complex issues across various components of essential business systems. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying problems and delivering effective solutions to ensure system stability and performance. Collaboration with different teams is a key part of the daily routine to maintain seamless operations and support business continuity. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams. - Coordinate with stakeholders to prioritize and resolve critical system issues promptly. - Mentor and guide team members to enhance their technical capabilities and problem-solving skills. - Continuously monitor system health and implement improvements to prevent future incidents. Professional & Technical Skills: - Required Skill: Expert proficiency in Open C Technical. - Strong analytical skills to troubleshoot and resolve complex software issues efficiently. - Experience in maintaining and supporting enterprise-level packaged applications. - Ability to work with cross-functional teams to understand system dependencies and impacts. - Excellent communication skills to document issues and solutions clearly and concisely. - Proficient in using diagnostic tools and techniques to identify root causes of system failures.
