Application Support Engineer

Act as software detectives, provide a dynamic service identifying and solving issues within multiple components of critical business systems.

Job Description: As an Application Support Engineer, you will be responsible for identifying and solving issues within multiple components of critical business systems. Your typical day will involve providing dynamic support and troubleshooting for various software components. Job Responsibilities: Write configurations to extract, transform, and load data Identify and resolve issues, and implement new features on a Salesforce instance Manage internal tools and identify opportunities for improvements to development and support processes Understand requirements and resolve ambiguity in order to develop solutions Create dashboards to visualize data Provide mentoring and support to junior resources where appropriate Additional development tasks as assigned Professional & Technical Skills: Required Skill: Expert proficiency in any SQL Database Manage Systems. Willingness to learn new development languages Strong understanding of database concepts and principles. Experience in performance tuning and optimization of database systems. Experience with JavaScript is a plus. Salesforce Administration experience is a plus. Should have expertise in application debugging. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Strong attention to detail, and ability to follow processes Proven ability to manage conflicting priorities under guidance Should be able to arrive at solutions independently Basic linux familiarity Experience working with teams in different timezones a plus Additional Information: The candidate should have minimum 1 year of experience in any SQL Database Manage Systems.
