Position Summary
The AI & Digital Solutions Specialist will be a strategic partner to the Americas Procurement team, driving digital transformation through the development and deployment of AI-powered tools and automation solutions. This role will focus on enhancing procurement agility, data-driven decision-making, and operational efficiency by leveraging advanced analytics, machine learning, and intelligent automation.
The ideal candidate will be a hands-on innovator with strong coding and AI expertise, capable of translating complex procurement challenges into scalable digital solutions. This role requires cross-functional collaboration, independent initiative, and a deep understanding of procurement systems and data.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement AI-powered analytics tools to optimize procurement insights.
- Develop machine learning models to identify trends, predict risks, and support strategic sourcing.
- Automate routine procurement tasks (e.g., spend analysis, vendor performance tracking) to reduce manual effort and errors.
- Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and security in AI models and analytics platforms.
- Lead the development and enhancement of digital tools and processes across procurement systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for digital innovation.
- Integrate data from multiple sources (Oracle EBS, Power BI, SharePoint, etc.) for unified reporting and analysis.
- Perform advanced data analysis to support KPI tracking, cost optimization, and risk mitigation.
- Create dashboards and reports that provide real-time insights and predictive analytics.
- Scope, define, and implement digital projects aligned with procurement priorities.
- Facilitate stakeholder engagement and ensure adoption of new tools and processes.
- Develop training materials, user guides, and testing scenarios to support solution rollout.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in analytics, digital transformation, or AI development.
- Proven experience in developing and deploying machine learning models.
- Coding proficiency in Python, R, SQL, or other relevant languages.
- Advanced proficiency in Power BI, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint.
- Experience with Oracle EBS or similar ERP systems is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills & Attributes
- Familiarity with procurement processes and KPIs.
- Experience with cloud-based AI platforms (e.g., Azure ML, AWS SageMaker).
- Knowledge of natural language processing (NLP) and generative AI applications.
- Agile project management experience.
- Passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
Work Environment & Travel
Primarily office-based; may be sedentary for extended periods.
No travel required.
