Overview

Serve as the lead subject matter expert for the Accounts Receivable (Collections) function by managing complex and non-complex customer portfolios, driving cash collections and operational excellence, and providing technical leadership to the team. The role is responsible for resolving escalated collection issues, ensuring compliance with AR processes and governance, supporting continuous improvement initiatives, and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to enhance customer experience and achieve business objectives. Through coaching, knowledge sharing, and functional expertise, the Lead Coordinator helps strengthen team capability, improve operational performance, and support the organization's cash flow and working capital goals.

OKR 1: AR Operations & Portfolio Management

  • Manage assigned strategic/complex customer portfolio.
  • Achieve collection, past due, DSO and unapplied cash targets.
  • Perform account reconciliations and collection forecasting.
  • Resolve complex collection issues and escalations.

OKR 2: Operational Leadership & Functional Expertise

  • Serve as the Collections SME.
  • Provide day-to-day coaching and guidance
  • Support complex customer issues and escalations.
  • Ensure compliance with AR policies and procedures.
  • Promote best practices across the team.
  • Support onboarding and cross-training.
  • Conduct knowledge-sharing sessions.
  • Develop job aids and training materials.
  • Serve as backup for critical AR processes.

OKR 3: Customer & Stakeholder Management

  • Build relationships with internal and external customers.
  • Conduct customer meetings.
  • Partner with Sales, Credit, Customer Service, Cash Application and other functions.
  • Drive dispute resolution and cash realization.

OKR 4: Continuous Improvement & Process Excellence

  • Identify process gaps and recommend improvements.
  • Participate in CI/VOS initiatives.
  • Support automation and system enhancements.
  • Maintain process documentation.

Education & Certifications

Bachelor’s Degree of any 4-year course

Requirements

  • 5-year experience with Vertiv Customer service environment or 5 year or more experience in Accounts Receivable, as people manager or Subject Matter Expert (SME)
  • Knowledgeable in the use of CPQ, Oracle, Partnerweb, High Radius, and other Collection and Order Mgt related tools Internal business Tools essential in investigating of issues
  • Knowledgeable in the Order to Cash Cycle Process
