Accounting Supervisor

The Accounting Supervisor is responsible for enforcing company accounting control policies, ensuring that all billing processes are accurate and timely, and overseeing the performance of accounting staff. The role involves managing salary rate movements, billing validations, and ensuring compliance with clients' policies and wage orders. The supervisor also plays a key role in handling administrative matters for the group/division, supporting staff, and managing financial tasks related to projects.

Job Description

• Enforce company accounting control policies and procedures.
• Update all regions on salary rate movements in compliance with issued wage orders.
• Ensure all costs/expenses on projects are billed on time and do not exceed the budget.
• Validate billings for accuracy and compliance with clients' policies.
• Monitor the performance of accounting staff.
• Manage administrative matters for the group/division.
• Compute separation pay for all resigned merchandisers.
• Assist or back up staff to ensure the timely completion of tasks and meeting client deadlines.
• Ensure timely and accurate service reports and billing submissions.
  
  

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and policies.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• At least 3-5 years of experience in accounting or financial management.
