About the role
The Safety Officer 3 (SO3) implements and monitors the company’s Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) programs, identifies workplace hazards, ensures compliance with safety standards, and promotes a safe and healthy work environment.

Key responsibilities

1. Implement and monitor the company’s OSH programs and policies.

2. Conduct workplace inspections and identify hazards and risks.

3. Recommend and monitor corrective and preventive actions.

4. Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses.

5. Conduct safety orientations, training, and awareness activities.

6. Monitor compliance with safety rules and procedures.

7. Support emergency preparedness and safety drills.

8. Maintain safety records, reports, and required documentation.

9. Coordinate with HR, management, supervisors, and employees on safety concerns.

10. Assist during DOLE inspections and ensure timely resolution of safety findings.

11. Promote a positive safety culture and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Mandatory 40-hour basic OSH training course applicable to the industry

• At least 2 years of experience in OSH

• Additional 48 hours of advanced or specialized occupational safety training relevant to the industry

• Bachelor’s degree (any course)

• Knowledge of DOLE compliance and reportorial requirements

• Filipino nationality only

• Willing to work full-time in Mandaluyong City
