About The Job
Employment Type: 6-Month Contract

Reports To: Finance Controller

Direct Reports: AP Accountant, Senior AP Accountant

The role will oversee key accounting and financial reporting activities, ensuring accurate and timely completion of month-end and year-end closing, financial reporting, statutory requirements, treasury activities, and audit coordination.

The Accounting Manager will also lead the Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and General Ledger (GL) teams, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of accounting activities and providing coaching and support to team members.

Your tasks

• Oversee daily accounting operations and financial reporting activities.
• Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end closing.
• Oversee balance sheet reconciliations, statutory reporting, and SAP reporting requirements.
• Manage internal and external audit coordination and ensure timely completion of audit requirements.
• Review cash position, collections, and disbursements.
• Monitor AP and AR performance and ensure timely processing of collections and supplier payments.
• Ensure accurate maintenance of journal entries and general ledger reconciliations in SAP.
• Manage FX revaluation and exchange rate maintenance.
• Support the improvement and implementation of finance policies, procedures, and accounting processes.
• Lead and manage the AP and GL accounting teams, ensuring timely and accurate deliverables.
• Provide coaching, guidance, and development support to team members.
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 7+ years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a similar or larger organization.
• Experience in people management and team leadership.
• Strong knowledge of accounting, financial reporting, and month-end closing.
• ERP experience; SAP preferred.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• CPA is an advantage but not required.
