About The Team & Business Line

As a valuable member of the Citco Corporate Solutions Accounting Team, you will be working with dedicated professionals to manage the entire process of preparing accounts to delivering financial statements in various Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) of clients in Multinational Business, Alternative Investment Funds, Corporate and Financial Institutions, and Private Wealth. Our team uses its deep understanding and experience, combined with industry-leading technology, to deliver a complete and holistic service offering covering accounting, SPV administration, and a host of complimentary ancillary services.

Responsibilities

You will be responsible on ensuring that the day-to-day requirements of clients of Citco Hong Kong, Singapore and other office (Primary Service Office or “PSO”) are delivered timely and accurately. The supervisor will assist/backup the senior accountants in the performance of their core responsibilities, when necessary. Assist manager on various administrative tasks, as necessary. You should be able to work independently and timely, with excellent written and oral skills, and have the capabilities to work alongside team members in identifying issues and implement solutions as needed.

  • Review (in some cases prepare) of financial statements and other required reports for statutory and management purposes according to local, international and industry-specific accounting requirements
  • Monitor financial transactions and review supporting documentations (Transaction Monitoring)
  • You will ensure compliance to Service Level Agreements “SLAs” with client and other service offices
  • Coach and train junior accountant/accountant/admin assistant on matters relevant to their role
  • You will communicate and coordinate client matters with other service offices, auditors, tax advisors, other service providers, and clients
  • You will establish plan for new client set-up and/or transition from previous accountants or service providers
  • You will oversee compliance to accounting procedures, timelines and internal controls
  • You will manage timely submission of administrative related deliverables
  • You will assist the team in their performance of their core responsibilities and in resolving client-related issues
  • You will provide supporting role to Manager

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Management Accounting
  • You are a CPA
  • You have at least 4 years experience with minimum of 1 year experience in a managerial/supervisory level in managing direct reports/subordinates in an accounting/external audit position with an international organization or service provider (exposure to tax driven structures or asset management industry is an advantage)
  • You have knowledge of IFRS, Hong Kong FRS or Singapore FRS
  • You are proficient in relevant accounting software and other applications, such as Microsoft office (Excel, Word, etc.)
  • You have excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • You have the ability to work independently and in a team
  • You can maintain a high level of accuracy and outstanding attention to detail
  • You have good analytical skills
  • You are able to deliver quality work while adhering to strict timelines
  • Ability to work with various stakeholders in a multi-location setting
  • Ability to work independently and lead a team
  • Ability to lead by example
