The Role

As a Trade Sales Manager, you will drive, structure and deliver a holistic trade and supply chain finance value proposition to address clients’ working capital, balance sheet and risk management objectives for both domestic and cross border flows.

How youll contribute

  • Grow and sustain the growth trajectory of the trade and supply chain portfolio of the bank in both volume and revenue.
  • Maintain close relationship with existing and target clients to develop a deeper understanding of their business requirements, encourage utilization of trade limits, spot opportunities for new trade deals and cross-sell other bank products.
  • Maintain a consultative approach in client engagements and present proposals and cross sell opportunities which reflect value proposition to existing and new clients in collaboration with the business segment and MUFG alliance team.
  • Pro-actively identify trade and supply chain finance requirements from existing portfolio of cash and business segments to promote the bank’s trade finance products and services.
  • Work closely with the Trade Product Management team to ensure structuring of appropriate and compliant trade and supply chain finance solutions.
  • Initiate trade roadshows or campaigns in collaboration with cash management and business to enhance market reach and brand recall of SBC’s trade and supply chain finance solutions.
  • Understand clients’ requirements and spot opportunities for trade and cash portal subscription from existing and new to bank clients.
  • Perform related tasks which may be assigned from time to time by the Management.

What we’re looking for

  • Graduate of Bachelors Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking, Business Studies/Administration/Management, Commerce, Economics, Marketing, Industrial Engineering, Mass Communication / Advertising or any relate course.
  • With at least 3 years of relevant sales and / or marketing experience relative to trade and supply chain finance products from banking or fintech space
  • Knowledge in trade finance, lending and credit solutions
  • Ability to work and collaborate with various stakeholders in the organization
  • Focused and driven to close quality deals that meet client requirements vis-à-vis the bank’s business objectives
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to present to all levels of seniority
  • Ability to work independently, self-starter, results oriented, motivated, energetic and determined to deliver under pressure
