This resource will be on the Enterprise Core Intel Operations team which supports VMware and Windows Day-2 support. Expectation from a successful candidate for this role must posses sound knowledge and proven experience on VMWare ESXi, VMWare vCenter, Cloud System Administrator Azure preferred.

The candidate should have the ability to deploy and troubleshoot a mixture of physical and virtual infrastructure (On Prem and Cloud) delivery tasks as assigned. Within the Server Operations Team, the candidate will help design and operationalize services to support the agile growth in our Microsoft Windows, VMWare product and other cloud offerings. Partnering with the Stability and Engineering teams during all phases of the Infrastructure lifecycle to support design and operational methods. You will fulfill a cross-functional role by driving operational stability and performance enhancements to the supported infrastructure. Youll collaborate with other system administrators and engineers to pave the way for the next generation private/public/hybrid cloud environment - moving beyond traditional practices and enhancing our customer experience. Has a passion for systems engineering, operational stability, monitoring, automation and defined networks. The successful candidate will use AI for Predictive analysis of ESXi Hosts and vCenter environment, perform Anamoly detection across the Tech stack, and Resource Optimization on Hosts and VM using Vendor API or Custom built features.

Primary Responsibility

• College Graduate
• 6+ years of experience on VMware vSphere and Windows System Administration, Support, and Build/Deployment
• 5+ years of experience on VMWare ESXi, vCenter 6.7 and above
• 4+ years of experience on Microsoft Windows 2016 Operating System and above
• 4+ years of experience on MSFT Clustering Administration
• Experience on scripting tools i.e. Python, PowerShell
• Experience in deploying using VMware HCX (migration tool)
• Experience and working knowledge of Windows GPO and AD administration tasks
• Experience deploying converged and hyper-converged solutions such as VMware Cloud Foundations, VSAN, VxRAIL, or similar technologies
• Experience on Server Hardware - HP Proliant and Dell Poweredge series, Datacenter Ops. and Vendor Management
• Experience in using Service Now and other ticketing tools
• Experience in using Service Now and other ticketing tools
• Knowledge of iSCISI
• Knowledge and skills on VMWare NSX
• VMware SRM & Recovery Plan knowledge
