It enables efficiency, standardization, and digital transformation while supporting the organizations growth and scaling across multiple markets.
Job Description
- Lead the review, testing, and adoption of new infrastructure technologies that support business needs
- Drive continuous improvements to infrastructure to improve stability, security, and scalability
- Ensure all infrastructure services meet agreed service levels and operational expectations
- Ensure all infrastructure systems are available, stable, and running as required
- Serve as the subject matter expert and final escalation point for major infrastructure issues
- Oversee backup and disaster recovery processes to ensure systems and data can be restored when needed
- Oversee identity and access controls to ensure users have the right access based on security and business rules
- Lead problem management efforts by identifying root causes of recurring issues and driving long-term fixes
- Ensure all data centers and infrastructure environments comply with IT policies and standards
- Work with the IT Security team to address security findings, risks, and vulnerabilities
- Ensure security updates and critical patches are applied on time and follow IT policies
- Maintain accurate records of infrastructure assets, licenses, and subscriptions
- Ensure licenses, renewals, and vendor support contracts are properly managed and current
- Think long-term and align infrastructure plans with business goals
- Adapt quickly to changes in technology, business needs, and operating environments
- Strong teamwork and communication skills, working effectively with other teams, stakeholders, and vendors
- 5-8 years of proven experience managing IT infrastructure operations, including on-premise and cloud environments.
- Strong understanding of servers, networks, cloud platforms, and data center operations, with the ability to guide and oversee technical teams.
- Experience ensuring infrastructure services meet service level agreements (SLAs) and business requirements.
- Ability to lead teams, set priorities, and manage escalations during major incidents or outages.
- Solid understanding of infrastructure security, patching, and compliance with IT policies and standards.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with business stakeholders, vendors, and IT teams.
- Hold relevant IT certifications or formal training related to infrastructure, cloud, or security.
- Experience working in a shared services or centralized IT operations environment is an advantage
- Experience supporting the energy generation, utilities, or industrial sector is an advantage.
- Knowledge or exposure to SCADA, OT systems, or IoT environments is a plus
- Any IT Certification (Cloud, Security, Server and Network) and/or PMP, ITIL
- Work with a trusted and leading company in the PH
