Job Description

The Director of Marketing and Communications is responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing communications plans to support the hotel’s sales and marketing objectives. This includes managing budgets, setting performance metrics, and ensuring alignment with corporate brand standards. The role oversees advertising across print, broadcast, and online platforms, manages barter arrangements, supervises the creation of collateral and image items, and ensures the quality of displays and signage in public areas. Additionally, the position serves as the hotel’s spokesperson to the media, nurturing strong relationships with local and national outlets to uphold the highest professional PR standards.


An ideal candidate should have a strong background in marketing communications, preferably within the hospitality industry. Experience in managing advertising budgets, coordinating with corporate brand teams, and supervising multi-channel campaigns is essential. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are required, along with the ability to build and sustain professional relationships with media and industry partners. Strong organizational skills, creativity, and the ability to work under pressure while meeting deadlines are highly valued.


The Director of Marketing and Communications will report directly to the Director of Sales & Marketing and the Area Director of Marketing & Communications – APAC. Responsibilities also include supervising the quality of displays and temporary signage in public areas, acting as the hotel’s spokesperson to the media, and nurturing close relationships with lifestyle, business, trade, and news outlets. The role is accountable for responding to media inquiries promptly and professionally, ensuring the hotel’s reputation and brand integrity are consistently upheld.
