About The Role

The Batch Processing Senior Analyst is responsible for delivering high quality Batch Services to TransUnion’s stakeholders—which includes the product, solutions, sales, technology, and operations teams. Also demonstrates better understanding of the business and products to the clients.

What Youll Bring

Key Responsibilities:

• Take ownership of the Batch Processing execution, this includes processing big batch files and providing results to stakeholders completely, timely, and accurately
• Become the subject matter expert of the batch processing tools and SOPs—Adviser, ICRS, and Triggers
• Assist the Head of Batch delivery in ensuring that batch revenue targets are met, billing adjustments are completed on time, and manage stakeholders accordingly
• Is able to problem solve by analyzing solutions using own judgement, and has the ability to handle contentious or more complex queries
• Works closely with our Operations, Solutions, Product, Global Technology, and Sales teams to proactively support all batch-related requests, Proof-of-Concepts, Triggers, and other sales support activities
• Interpret/Understand complex batch topics and successfully communicate all relevant details in an appropriate way and level for the respective audience.
• Build and leverage relationships with other departments.
• Recognize and develop individual abilities and efforts while at the same time promoting a collaborative and cooperative team atmosphere, which includes working with different clients and nationalities
• Is a continuous champion for the organization, sharing knowledge of TransUnion’s core products and services with the wider team
• Mentor junior members of the team—which includes the GCC team in India
• Willingness to work on extended hours as needed—like processing big batch files that may spill over the weekend, attending calls on US time, and the like
• Should have a continuous improvement mindset, able to lead process improvement projects
  
  

• Skills & Experience:
• Requires a strong background in credit bureau reporting or related industry, typically with 5 or more years’ in-depth experience.
• Must have solid background in processing big files—which includes data cleaning, parsing, consolidating, audit, and analysis
• The individual must display the TU beliefs and values, reasoning skills (analytic ability), and strong communication skills. Independence and initiative are a necessity.
• Ability to assertively communicate ideas to colleagues and customers in face-to-face scenarios demonstrating real-time insight, flexibility and sound judgment.
• Must have a sound working knowledge of software applications such as Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio
