Role Purpose
Responsible for developing and documenting detailed business requirements and supporting documentation for new initiatives and the enhancement of existing functionality in assigned IHG applications. Manage project life cycles, including planning, development, testing, feedback and implementation for assigned projects.
Key Accountabilities
- For assigned projects, develop with appropriate contacts, the detailed business requirements and supporting documentation such as scope documents, business justification and ROI, for systems applications to support all stakeholders.
- Negotiate and define system requirements with new alliances to implement agreed program components, data exchange standards.
- For assigned projects, collaborate with all stakeholders to document change requirements, identify preferred business solutions and priorities, and manage the development and implementation of assigned IHG applications enhancements that provide additional revenues, reduce costs or improve customer service.
- Design and implement test plans for business/user acceptance that ensure that new program functionality is delivered to meet business requirements. Ensure coordination with, and communication to, global users whose systems and/or processes may be impacted.
- Key contact for IT resources, external vendors and partners regarding program operations, system procedures and data interpretation between IHG and vendor systems.
- Communicate issues identified during Business Acceptance Testing to key stakeholders and technology, as needed.
Key Skills & Experiences
Education -
Bachelors Degree in a relevant field of work or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience.
Experience -
Two to five years progressive work-related experience in operations and/or systems analysis with demonstrated technical proficiency related to the position.
Technical Skills and Knowledge -
- Demonstrated project management skills.
- Demonstrated knowledge of departmental operations and business systems, problems and solutions, and processes related to IHG Understand how to use databases and complete data analysis, as needed.
- Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication skills for the purpose of providing information to clients, vendors, senior management and staff.
- Effective analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills.
- Agile Project Management methodology is preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Possess drive to work through issues, seek team support and escalate issues as appropriate.
- Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills.
- Must be comfortable using meeting systems and video cameras.
- Basic understanding of system hardware, software and ISP troubleshooting.
- Basic understanding of AI.
Physical Requirement:
- Ensure PCI Compliance and customer data privacy are met in accordance with IHG guidelines.
- Flexible work environment with a blend of remote and office work (determined by your line manager).
- Flexible work time based on office hour requirements.
- Must provide internet access and some technology per IHG guidelines.
