Alida is looking for a hands-on Accounting Manager to serve as the primary steward of our financial health and compliance in the Philippines.
This role is ideal for a technical expert who thrives on running full-cycle accounting, bridging the gap between local PFRS and Global GAAP, and mastering PH tax filings. You’ll take ownership of day-to-day financial operations and global reporting while acting as a high-impact, strategic liaison with local government units.
What Youll Do
- Oversee and manage the full-cycle accounting process in accordance with Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS).
- Ensure accurate monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing and reporting to the global team
- Bridge the gap between local PFRS reporting and Global GAAP requirements
- Manage and review all local tax filings to ensure accuracy and punctuality
- Implement tax strategies in partnership with the internal tax department and external consultants
- Oversee statutory requirements, including the filing
- In partnership with payroll team, facilitate execution of local PH payroll where needed
- Manage the timely remittance and reporting of statutory contributions
- Review payroll-related tax compliance as needed
- Act as a strategic liaison with various government units and/or financial institutions to ensure compliance and accounting standards are met.
Job Qualifications
- Must be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
- 6+ years of progressive experience in accounting and finance
- Experience in managing a small team is a plus

- This is a dayshift (6am-3pm PH time) role in a hybrid (at least 2x a week) setting
