Job Description

Responsible for providing specialized Level 2 Operations Support for Power infrastructure. This includes incident management support, network restoration, and proactive maintenance to ensure the reliable operation of Power systems, ultimately contributing to superior customer experience and uninterrupted telecommunications services.

Duties And Responsibilities

  • Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures when working with power systems.
  • Diagnose and restore AC and DC power systems. This covers both routine issues and emergency response to outages.\
  • Perform intra-domain Problem Management process, providing incident ticket assessment, root cause analysis, and permanent fix solutions.
  • Proactive identification of potential threats and vulnerabilities in the network
  • Collaborates and works with team members, stakeholders, and external partners to deliver technical solutions and projects.
  • Provides inputs in crafting reports to effectively deliver network performance and recommend timely solutions.
  • Collaborates within the team to reinforce Network Fault Analytics and drive network sustainability.
  • Support in ticketing process and guidelines updating
  • Supports the crafting of reports to effectively deliver network performance and showcase recommended solutions.
  • Collaborates with internal and external teams on the network performance improvement, providing action plans.


KPIs

  • Meet service assurance targets (MTTR, network health check closure, incident reduction)
  • Attain high network availability
  • Hit performance targets (utilization, latency etc.)
  • Vulnerability, Problem and Fault Ticket closing


Top 3-5 Deliverables

  • Network Performance Monitoring and Availability Management of and Power infrastructure.
  • Incident and Problem Management related to Power infrastructure, minimizing service disruptions.
  • Support on projects involving Power infrastructure
  • Vendor and Stakeholder Management
  • Preventative Maintenance on Power infrastructure


Qualifications

  • Possess strong knowledge of AC and DC power systems, including:
  • AC: Switchgear, transformers, circuit breakers, motors, and pumps.
  • DC: Rectifiers, batteries (various types), charging systems, and battery management systems (BMS).
  • 4 years collective experience in IT and/or Telco industry in roles related to Network and Power
  • Operations or Engineering
