The Technician provides support and is accountable for delivering on our commitments to our residents. This includes quality move-ins, residential satisfaction, expedited service, and personal attention to the resident. The Technician responds to our resident's service needs and is instrumental in helping Cushman and Wakefield deliver superior customer service to our residents.

About the Role:
Troubleshoot, repair, install, and modify building systems and equipment including HVAC, plumbing, machinery, kitchen equipment, roofs, drains, electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and grounds equipment.
Inspect buildings, grounds, and systems for safety, functionality, and preventative maintenance; recommend upgrades and cost-saving opportunities.
Maintain fire and life safety systems, respond to emergencies and service requests, perform snow removal and carpentry as needed, and comply with all safety training, codes, regulations, and company policies.
Repair and replace building finishes (ceilings, doors, walls, flooring), clean and service equipment, and ensure proper use and care of tools and materials.
Demonstrate technical proficiency, flexibility, multitasking, urgency, customer service focus, and effective use of technology; maintain professional appearance and meet education requirements (High School Diploma or GED).
About You
Minimum of 2+ years of related experience in a commercial property or facilities maintenance setting.
Technical, vocational, or on‑the‑job training in at least one skilled trade such as HVAC, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, process controls, or engine repair.
Valid driver’s license with a good driving record (commercial license may be required) and basic proficiency in Outlook, Excel, and Word.
Ability to work shift schedules, on‑call/standby duties, overtime, and extended periods without relief when responding to emergencies.
May serve as the sole maintenance staff member on duty during certain shifts, requiring strong problem‑solving skills and self‑direction.
