Job Summary

The Sustainability Director is responsible for leading the development and execution of sustainability strategies with a strong focus on environmental initiatives. The role partners closely with senior leadership and supply chain teams to embed sustainable practices into operations, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement organization-wide sustainability strategies, programs, and initiatives
• Lead environmental sustainability efforts across operations, including supply chain and related functions
• Collaborate with cross-functional and senior leadership teams to drive alignment and execution of sustainability goals
• Ensure compliance with applicable environmental regulations, standards, and sustainability frameworks
• Provide strategic insights, analysis, and recommendations to executive stakeholders
• Monitor sustainability performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives across the organization
• Promote sustainability awareness and integration into business processes and decision-making
  
  
  

• At least 2 years of experience as a Senior Manager or a tenured Manager
• Background from Big 4 firms is preferred
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is an advantage but not required
• Strong experience in environmental sustainability (focus on environmental over social aspects)
• Exposure to C-level stakeholders or involvement in strategic leadership initiatives
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and strategic thinking skills
