SUSTAINABILITY DIRECTOR

LOCATION: MAKATI

WORK SETUP: Onsite

WORK SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday



Key Responsibilities

• Strategy Development: Design and execute comprehensive, organization-wide sustainability frameworks that align with long-term business goals.
• Environmental Stewardship: Lead focused initiatives across operations and supply chains to reduce carbon footprints, minimize waste, and optimize resource usage.
• Executive Collaboration: Partner with C-suite leadership and cross-functional heads to integrate sustainability into core corporate decision-making.
• Compliance & Reporting: Monitor and ensure adherence to evolving environmental regulations, global standards, and reporting frameworks.
• Strategic Analysis: Deliver data-driven insights and recommendations to stakeholders to guide capital investments in green technology or process improvements.
• Continuous Improvement: Establish Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to track sustainability progress and spearhead initiatives for operational efficiency.
• Advocacy & Education: Foster a culture of sustainability by promoting awareness and best practices across all levels of the organization.
  
  
  

• Leadership Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a Senior Manager role or an extensive tenure as a Manager within a complex corporate environment.
• Professional Pedigree: Experience within a Big 4 professional services firm is highly preferred.
• Educational/Technical Background: Bachelors degree in Environmental Science, Business, or a related field; a CPA license is considered a distinct advantage for overseeing ESG reporting.
• Subject Matter Expertise: Deep expertise in environmental sustainability, specifically focused on ecological impact, carbon accounting, and resource management rather than social governance.
• Stakeholder Management: Proven track record of influencing C-level executives and leading strategic, high-stakes initiatives.
• Soft Skills: Exceptional strategic thinking, analytical prowess, and the ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships.
