Position Summary

Specialist, Workday HRIS will have a focus on configuration, ticket management and reporting. The role provides day-to-day support to HR and business users and helps ensure the system operates effectively and efficiently for local and global stakeholders.

Duties and Accountabilities

Here are some of the key responsibilities and tasks associated with the role of Specialist, Workday HRIS:

System Configuration & Maintenance

• Perform configuration changes in Workday HCM based on approved requirements and governance
• Maintain core data and settings to support HR processes and organizational structures
• Support security and access updates according to defined standards and controls so that sensitive data is only visible to authorized users.
  
  

Report Creation

• Build custom reports and dashboards based on requirements to meet business needs along with any necessary calculated fields
• Utilise Workday's reporting tools to maintain reports and calculations to ensure data is accurate and delivered in a timely manner.
  
  

Compliance

• Follow company policies, procedures and data privacy guidelines in all system activities
• Support efforts to maintain accurate, complete and consistent HR data in Workday
  
  

Ticket Management & Support

• Receive, review and prioritize Workday-related tickets from users
• Perform initial analysis, troubleshoot issues and resolve routine requests
• Escalate complex issues to senior team as needed and track through completion
• Conduct system configuration and maintenance as directed
• Document issues, actions taken and resolutions in the ticketing system
  
  

Key Skills And Qualifications

• Experience with Workday: familiarity with Workday HCM module, Reporting and EIBs.
• Report Writing: Knowledge of report-building tools and techniques.
• Communication: good verbal and written communication skills to present report requirements to business stakeholders.
• HR Process Knowledge: understanding of HR functions and processes, such as joiners, movers and leavers, performance management and people demographic data.
• Attention to Detail: ensuring data integrity and accuracy in all reports.
