Job Overview

The Senior Project Coordinator will oversee the project schedules, milestones and deadlines while coordinating with team members and stakeholders. It’s their job to ensure the project management framework is well-organized and that it runs smoothly. This can include communicating with various departments in the organization to make sure everyone is on the same page.

Duties And Responsibilities

  • Ensure that all aspects of a project are organized and in conformance with timeline and deliverables requirements.
  • Develop and maintain a project performance database that tracks overall progress and achievement of milestones
  • Manage workflows, update deliverables, and ensure proper documentation throughout the project life cycle.
  • Assign and monitor resources effectively to boost project efficiency and maximize deliverables output
  • Report project risks and outcomes to appropriate management channels, and escalate issues according to the project work plan.
  • Serve as point of communication between company teams and external resources.
  • Deepen partnerships with outside resources, including third-party vendors.
  • Serve as the central point of contact for project queries and progress tracking.
  • Facilitate seamless communication with internal teams for project updates.
  • Stay up to speed on general project work with concise briefs.
  • Maintain thorough records and ensure all follow-ups are executed on time.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Project Management, or a related field (preferred), or equivalent practical experience.
  • Proven experience in project coordination, project management, or a similar role.
  • Experience working with operational systems, project data, or resource tracking is highly advantageous.
  • Advanced Communication: Exceptional verbal and written skills via email, Slack, and phone.
  • Organisation and Multitasking: Ability to juggle multiple projects, prioritise effectively, and adapt to rapid changes.
  • Detail-Oriented: Disciplined in maintaining accurate records and monitoring task progress.
  • Tech-Savvy: Familiarity with CRMs like HubSpot, cloud tools, and spreadsheet management.
  • Self-Starter: Capable of working independently with minimal guidance while delivering high-quality outcomes.
