Senior Operations Consultant VMWare

We’re looking for a Senior Operations Consultant (VMWare) who loves keeping complex environments stable, secure, and fast – and who enjoys doing it with a friendly, down-to-earth team. If you like working on mission-critical infrastructure that really matters, this role will give you plenty of interesting challenges and room to grow. You’ll help us run and improve digital infrastructure for highly regulated, business-critical industries, where reliability and security are key.

What You Will Do

In this role, you’ll be a go-to person for VMWare operations and digital infrastructure, working closely with colleagues, partners, and customers. You’ll be involved in daily operations, troubleshooting, and longer-term improvements, making sure our environments are stable and ready for whatever our customers throw at them. You’ll work in a setting where collaboration and clear communication are just as important as deep technical skills.

• Operate, maintain, and improve VMWare-based infrastructure in production and critical environments
• Handle incident and problem management, including root cause analysis and prevention
• Plan and perform upgrades, patching, and lifecycle management of VMWare platforms
• Work with security, compliance, and documentation for highly regulated industries
• Collaborate with architects and project teams on new implementations and migrations
• Mentor colleagues and share knowledge through best practices and documentation
  
  
  

What you bring

You’re experienced with VMWare and operations, and you’re comfortable taking ownership in complex environments. You enjoy solving problems, sharing your knowledge, and keeping things running smoothly without making a big fuss about it. You’re also happy talking with customers and colleagues, and you can explain technical topics in a clear and simple way.

• 5 years of hands-on experience with VMWare operations in production environments
• Strong knowledge of vSphere, ESXi, and related VMWare management tools
• Experience with incident, problem, and change management in IT operations
• Good understanding of networking, storage, and basic security principles
• Ability to work in English in a professional setting, both spoken and written
• A practical, collaborative mindset and willingness to take responsibility
