ING is looking for an enthusiastic Data Engineer to join the Datanet squad of Tribe Lending.

The Tribe Lending has the purpose: "Make complex lending simple". The Tribe is accountable for the end-to-end seamless Lending Client Journey. The solutions we design, develop and maintain are both in-house build and COTS. The technology being used is Cognos, Linux and Oracle database.

What will you do?

Your Day-to-day Responsibilities Include

• Analyzing requirements and perform technical design
• Design, build, and maintain complex Cognos Framework Manager models, including multi‑layered metadata models, dimensional modeling, and security implementations.
• Develop advanced Cognos reports, dashboards, and analytics solutions using Report Studio, Workspace, and Cognos Analytics.
• Implement and optimize data modules, data sets, and custom visualizations.
• Define Cognos architectural best practices, modeling standards, and governance guidelines.
• Being a technical advisor for Cognos production incidents.
• Optimize report performance and ensure efficient data retrieval.
• Supporting audits with documentation/proofs/run through the code base
• Collaborate with business users to gather and analyse reporting requirements.
• Provide ongoing support and maintenance for existing Cognos reports and dashboards.
• Using CI/CD pipeline to deploy the solution
• Communicating with the stakeholders to analyse and understand the need and design the solution accordingly
• Supporting other squad members whenever needed with your experience and knowledge
  
  

Who are you?

You are an enthusiastic Data Engineer with the following skillset:

Must have

On The More Technical Side You Must Have 5+ Years Of Relevant Experience In Data Engineering And Especially Must Have Experience In The Following Fields

• Proficiency in IBM Cognos Analytics (Report Studio, Query Studio, Analysis Studio, Framework Manager).
• Strong SQL skills and experience with data warehousing concepts.
• Functional and non-functional testing
• Data modelling in relational databases
• Clear communication and ability to collaborate across squads.
  
  

Nice to have

Next to these must haves, we appreciate you to have knowledge of the following:

• Experience in LoanIQ application and its data model
• Experience in Lending business
• Certification on IBM Cognos analytics
• Experience in a complex, corporate environment
• Linux (bash) scripting capabilities
• Knowledge of Oracle RDBMS 12c or higher
• Agile / Scrum methodologies.
• CI / CD tooling: Azure DevOps, Git, Ansible
• Issue trackers like ServiceNow or Azure Boards
• Ability to communicate effectively and present/demo ideas and solutions
• Keen on documenting work
