What Youll Do

This role is responsible for owning and strengthening the company’s payroll, benefits, and HR systems operations to ensure that employees are compensated accurately and on time, benefits are administered efficiently, and HR data is reliable and compliant.

You will serve as the subject matter expert for payroll and statutory compliance, while also driving systems optimization and people analytics. As the organization continues to grow, you will play a key role in improving processes, enabling data-driven decisions, and elevating the overall employee experience.

Key Responsibility Areas

  • Payroll Administration
    • Manage end-to-end payroll processing while ensuring accuracy and timeliness
    • Validate attendance, overtime, leaves, bonuses, allowances, and statutory deductions
    • Ensure compliance with local labor laws, tax regulations, and government-mandated contributions
    • Prepare payroll reports, reconciliations, and journal entries for Finance
    • Handle payroll-related inquiries in a timely and professional manner
    • Coordinate with payroll vendors or external partners when applicable
  • Benefits Administration
    • Administer government-mandated benefits (e.g., SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG) and company-provided benefits
    • Process enrollments, claims, reimbursements, and benefits-related documentation
    • Maintain accurate employee records and benefits databases
    • Liaise with insurance providers and benefits vendors
    • Prepare government reports, support audit requirements, and ensure statutory compliance and timely remittances
  • Systems, Analytics, and Records Management
    • Take ownership of HR systems, ensuring accurate data management, timely updates, and proper documentation of employee records
    • Maintain data integrity across payroll, benefits, and HRIS platform
    • Generate and analyze HR metrics and dashboards (e.g., turnover, engagement, headcount, performance trends) to inform people decisions and policy improvements
    • Identify system and workflow improvement opportunities to increase efficiency and scalability
    • Maintain accurate employee 201 files and HRIS records
    • Draft employment certifications and payroll-related documents
  • Others
    • Support ad hoc HR and Admin projects and cross-functional initiatives
What Were Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Human Resources, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in payroll and benefits processing (end-to-end).
  • Deep knowledge of Philippine labor laws, taxation, and statutory compliance.
  • Proven experience managing government-mandated contributions (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG) and audit requirements.
  • Strong experience in HRIS and payroll systems management, with demonstrated ability to maintain data accuracy and reporting integrity.
  • Strong analytical capability with confidence in handling numbers, reconciliations, and dashboards.
  • High level of discretion and integrity in handling confidential information.
  • Ability to work independently, take initiative, and exercise sound judgment.
  • A proactive, systems-oriented, and solutions-driven mindset.
