The Opportunity
We are seeking a motivated Sales Development Representative to help drive pipeline growth by identifying, qualifying, and engaging prospective customers. This role blends effective communication across remote and on-site channels with careful management of candidate and employee records where applicable to support sales-led hiring and onboarding activities. The ideal candidate is organized, discreet, and focused on delivering excellent customer and team-centered service.
What You’ll Do
Lead Outreach & Qualification: Proactively research, prospect, and qualify leads through email, phone, virtual meetings, and in-person events to generate qualified opportunities for the sales team.
Effective Communication (Remote and On-site): Communicate clearly and professionally with prospects, internal stakeholders, and new hires across remote and on-site settings; tailor messaging to audience and channel.
HRIS & Employee Records Support: Maintain accurate records in HRIS and related systems for candidates and newly hired sales staff when required; ensure documentation is complete and up to date to support smooth transitions into the sales organization.
Recruitment and Onboarding Coordination: Coordinate with recruiting and people operations teams to support hiring activities for sales roles, schedule interviews, follow up with candidates, and assist with new-hire onboarding tasks to ensure a timely and positive experience.
Problem-Solving: Identify process gaps or friction points in outreach, qualification, and onboarding workflows; propose and help implement practical improvements.
CRM Management: Accurately log activities, update lead and account records, and maintain pipeline hygiene in the CRM to enable effective reporting and follow-up.
Collaboration: Work closely with account executives, marketing, and people operations to align outreach campaigns, share feedback from the field, and support joint initiatives.
Performance Tracking: Monitor key metrics (for example, leads contacted, meetings set, conversion rates) and contribute to regular performance reviews and planning discussions.
Who You Are
Skills:
Effective communicator in both remote and on-site environments; comfortable with phone, video, and email outreach.
Familiarity with HRIS and employee records management or demonstrated ability to learn HR systems quickly.
Experience coordinating recruitment and onboarding steps or supporting hiring processes.
Strong problem-solving skills with a bias toward practical, customer-focused solutions.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in sales, business, communications, or a related field preferred.
1+ years of sales development, inside sales, recruiting coordination, or related experience.
Experience using CRM systems (for example Salesforce, HubSpot) and comfort learning HRIS or ATS platforms.
Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to represent the company professionally.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
