Safety Officer

You’ll Be Responsible For

• Support the implementation and continuous improvement of health, safety and wellbeing (HSW) policies, procedures and standards.
• Coordinate inspections, audits and compliance activities aligned with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 requirements.
• Monitor, analyse and report HSW performance, audit findings, corrective actions and key performance indicators.
• Identify risks, compliance gaps and opportunities for improvement, supporting effective resolution and best practice.
• Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to promote a positive safety culture and operational excellence.
• Contribute to regional objectives, supporting Mace’s commitment to net zero carbon and sustainable project delivery.
  
  

You’ll Need To Have

• Digitally savvy with an interest in health, safety and wellbeing.
• Strong organisation, attention to detail and written communication skills.
• Proactive, solution-focused and able to build effective working relationships.
• IOSH qualified (or equivalent) and committed to progressing towards NEBOSH certification.
