Job Summary

  • Primarily responsible for the development and management of the remittance products assigned by the Division Head and/or the Segment Head. Ensures remittance product growth and profitability via proper management of the products’ marketing mix -- Product, Pricing, Promotions, Place and People


  • How will you contribute?

    • Prepares and examines product performance for further profitability analysis and makes recommendations to improve revenues and overall performance
    • Regularly checks features and services offered and recommends improvement and development to heads for implementation
    • Defines and updates Service Level Agreements (SLA) between various business and operating units that will have a direct impact on the RCM remittance product implementation
    • Ensures compliance of the products to external regulation as well as to internal policies and procedures of the Bank and ensures that BSP, compliance and audit findings on the products are addressed
    • Assists the Division and Segment Heads for the product roadmaps of all RCM remittance products and supports in the short, medium, and long-term plans for product enhancements and developments
    • Monitors and presents industry and competition’s products and services for OFWs as benchmark data to improve and innovate existing remittance products
    • Coordinates closely with the Origination Regional Team and the corresponding Country Managers/Market Development Team in reporting the performance of existing remittance products and services per geographical location of all tie-ups, centers and agents overseas, as well as competitive products present in the respective countries and regions to provide a more comprehensive and robust product and marketing plans and strategies
    • Coordinates with various units of the bank and external partners in all product development and enhancement to ensure timely and seamless delivery
    • Prepares concept paper, business case and all business and regulatory requirements for approval of various committees and regulating bodies
    • Monitors the revenue and CAPEX/OPEX budgets for the assigned remittance product, development projects and marketing campaigns


  • What will make you successful?

    • At least college graduate of business management, marketing or any business-related course
    • Working knowledge of remittance products
    • Good knowledge of banking and financial products
    • In-depth product development and management knowledge
    • Adequate knowledge in handling and reviewing P&L
    • Preferably with two (2) years banking and/or product management experience
