Regulatory Compliance Officer

The independent Compliance Testing Officer executes the conduct of compliance testing of the business, operating and support units of the bank. She/he is responsible in supporting the Section Head/Team Lead in managing the bank wide compliance testing program, developing compliance testing methodologies, and reporting issues, observations and recommendations to management.

Duties And Responsibilities

3.1. Performs regulatory independent compliance testing to ensure the bank’s compliance with regulatory requirements.

3.2. Report findings/observations noted in the conduct of compliance testing to the business units through the issuances of formal compliance report.

3.3. Recommend improvements in the business unit’s processes, where appropriate, and ensure that compliance manual and policies and procedures are kept up to date in light of developing regulations.

3.4. Performs gap analysis and identifies potential areas of compliance vulnerability or establish actual risk exposure on pertinent products, services and/or business activities.

3.5. Assists the Section/Team Head in monitoring/review and consolidation of replies to the findings/exceptions of regulatory bodies submitted by concerned units for reporting to the Audit Committee or submission to BSP

3.6. Prepares quarterly report to the Section/Team Head on vital activities and various compliance efforts, updates on issues and findings to regulatory bodies such as PDIC and BSP.

3.7 Assist bank units in compliance related issues/concerns.

Qualifications

2 years of experience in Compliance /Audit; Risk Management; Fraud Control; Financial Services / Banking

Bachelor’s Degree in – Business Management /Banking and Accounting; Law; Information Technology or related discipline
