Job Title: Regulatory and Governance Officer

Job Description

• Monitor, interpret, and ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and circulars issued by BSP, SEC, AMLC, NPC, and other regulators
• Coordinate regulatory filings, reports, and submissions accurately and on time
• Serve as a liaison between the company and regulatory bodies
• Support the development, implementation, and review of internal policies, procedures, and governance frameworks
• Assist in regulatory examinations, audits, and compliance reviews
• Track regulatory issues, compliance gaps, and remediation plans
• Support corporate governance initiatives, including board and committee requirements
• Provide regulatory guidance and compliance advice to internal stakeholders
• Maintain regulatory documentation and compliance records
  
  
  

• Bachelors degree in Law, Business, Finance, Accountancy, or a related field
• At least 2–4 years of experience in regulatory compliance, governance, or risk management (preferably in fintech, banking, payments, or financial services)
• Strong working knowledge of BSP, SEC, AMLA, and NPC regulations
• Experience in regulatory reporting and dealing with regulators is highly preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines
