We are seeking a dedicated and experienced QHSE Manager to join our team at Bureau Veritas. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining comprehensive Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment (QHSE) management systems across our operations.
Provide advice and support to Country and Business Units to ensure implementation and compliance with the QHSE policy, objectives, program and Business Management Systems.
Coordinates and perform regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with BV QHSE policies, objectives, programs, management systems, as well as international and local legislation. In line with this, he/she will be responsible to provide feedback to Operational and Business Unit Managers to ensure consistent conformance to QHSE programs.
Act as the point of contact for the Regional QHSE Manager and ensuring QHSE information are circulated to all concerned offices and employees.
Oversees the internat audit program and ensure audits are conducted as per schedule.
Conducts follow through and ensure non-compliance are closed in a timely manner.
Measure the perofrmance of the locations against set QHSE objectives and report required KPIs to regional and global office.
Enhances awareness and continually educates employees on quality assurance principles and accreditation requirements by way of training, meetings, notes etc to ensure that good QHSE practices are implemented and maintained.
Develops and implement QHSE Trainings and ensure trainings are conducted as per training matrix/plan.
Ensure thal all new employees receive induction training.
Act as the point of contact for Certification and Accreditation bodies and schedule external audits.
Assist in the preparation, compilation and maintenance of quality control manuals to meet the needs of the business management and to satisfy the requirements of accreditation authorities.
Ensure compliance with HSE legislation by monitoring and reviewing current and proposed HSE regulations.
Undertake sepcific quality or safety related project as directed by the N+1 or the Regional QHSE Manager, Asia.
Performs related work as required.
Required Skills & Qualifications (What skills are required for this position)
Considerable knowledge in ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001, ISO 9001 and/or ISO 17025.
Considerable knowledge in managing Quality Systems and/or Health and Safety Functions.
Hands on individual contributor role with maturity.
Inter personal management skills will be key to implement and drive projects.
Able to communicate well both verbally and in written English.
