The Role

The ProjectWise & CDE Administrator is responsible for the implementation and management of the Common Data Environments (CDE) on projects. This is a vital role in the deployment and coordination of the CDE environments across The Company during project delivery and project tenders. With an emphasis on ProjectWise administration this role will be responsible managing engineering and construction project data using Bentleys ProjectWise software.

The role will assist in driving the engineering software asset management methodologies and the engineering application standardization requirements across The Company. This is a vital role in the application-related aspects of governing, operating, and maintaining ICT services, as well as in continuously improving service quality performance and business experience.

Your Responsibilities

• Administration – Setup up and configuring ProjectWise, managing user access and permissions, maintaining (and updating) system configurations, and troubleshooting issues
• Data Management – Organising, sharing, and controlling project documents and workflows using ProjectWise
• Workflow – Developing and maintaining complex workflows within ProjectWise to streamline project processes, including workflows across multiple environments
• Integration – Integrating ProjectWise with other software tools, including Bentley and Autodesk products, and other relevant systems using Powershell and APIs
• User Support – Collaborating with project teams, IT staff, and other stakeholders to ensure effective project delivery
• Security – Ensuring compliance with project requirements and company standards related to document management and data security
• Support – Providing first-line technical support for ProjectWise users and troubleshooting issues.
  
  

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in managing ProjectWise and Common Data Environments
• Demonstrable experience with the management, administration and delivery of Bentley and Autodesk Engineering Systems, specifically:
• Bentley ProjectWise
• Knowledge in ACC BIM360 desirable
• Understanding of relevant Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) with experience to create and maintain code/functions to facilitate automation, specifically:
• PowerShell Scripts
• Forge for ACC BIM 360 desirable
• SQL Scripts desirable
• Good management skills and ability to perform a wide range of duties
• Aptitude to adapt to different project environments and open to learning new skills. E.g. Bentley AssetWise ALIM
• Understanding of contemporary IT technologies and concepts such as ICT Networks, End User Computing, Virtualized Environments and Cloud Computing
• Verbal and written communication skills and the ability to coordinate across multiple levels, with the Planning community, vendors’ and other key stakeholders
