Our Information Technology team is looking for experienced professionals to join us in Taguig with the role of Project Manager (Planning and Governance).
In this role you will plan, lead, and deliver complex, technology-driven projects from initiation through completion, securing and coordinating business and IT resources to meet defined objectives. What The Role Will Entail
Initiate and plan projects by defining scope, timelines, budgets, resources, governance, and documentation, including project charters, plans, SOWs, and steering/working team structures.
Execute projects end to end by leading cross-functional teams, managing RACI, schedules, scope, budget, risks, and issues, and ensuring accurate reporting and stakeholder alignment.
Coordinate internal and external resources, vendors, and partners, including contract management, regulatory approvals, and budget development and signoff.
Monitor project performance using formal project management, risk, and reporting processes, escalating decisions and securing approvals through steering committees as needed.
Lead testing, validation, acceptance, and transition activities to ensure successful implementation and readiness for production.
Operationalize delivered solutions by managing post-implementation curing, transitioning to BAU support, securing operational signoff, and completing formal project closure.
Manage project, compliance, and operational risks by addressing audit findings, tracking KRIs/KCIs, conducting control testing, and driving continuous improvement in project management maturity.
What Were Looking For
Bachelors Degree in either Computer Science/Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Information Systems, Finance or Business Management; post graduate degree preferred
10+ years of experience across at least two IT disciplines (e.g., application development, infrastructure, enterprise architecture, project management, QA, or service management), with a strong focus on business problem solving
Proven project leadership experience, including 7+ years managing enterprise-scale projects and at least 5 years as a Project Manager and/or Scrum Master delivering complex initiatives
Demonstrated success leading cross-functional teams with strong communication, decision-making, and stakeholder management skills; banking domain experience and familiarity with core banking systems (e.g., T24, Narada) are an advantage
Strong knowledge of retail and consumer banking, regulatory and risk environments, core banking systems (CASA, Switch; T24/Narada an advantage), and enterprise delivery methodologies (PMBOK, PRINCE2, Scrum), with proficiency in business process modeling, project planning tools, and strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills; relevant certifications preferred.
