Job Description
The Performance Marketing Specialist is responsible for planning, executing, optimizing, and analyzing digital marketing campaigns to drive customer acquisition and sales across all digital channels. This role manages paid media campaigns, monitors campaign performance, optimizes and collaborates with cross functional teams to achieve business goals and objectives.
Campaign Planning and Execution
Plan, set up, and manage paid digital campaigns across Meta, Google, YouTube, TikTok, and other relevant platforms.
Manage advertisements on Shopee, Lazada, TikTok Shop, and other e-commerce platforms.
Ensure campaigns are aligned with business goals, sales targets, product launches, promotions, and marketing plans.
Manage programmatic, display, retargeting, and other relevant digital advertising activities.
Keep updated on digital marketing trends, tools, and platform changes.
Collaborate with Marketing and E-Commerce teams to support sell-in and sell-out objectives.
Align digital campaigns with trade promotions, marketplace campaigns (e.g., 7.7, 8.8, 9.9), product launches, and distributor initiatives.
Optimize campaigns to drive both online conversions and offline brand awareness where applicable.
Campaign Optimization and Budget Management
Monitor campaign performance and make timely adjustments to improve results.
Improve key performance indicators, including click-through rate, conversion rate, cost per acquisition, and return on advertising spend.
Monitor campaign spending and ensure that expenses remain within approved budgets.
Recommend budget allocation and reallocation across platforms, campaigns, and products.
Identify underperforming campaigns and recommend corrective actions.
Data Analysis, Reporting, and Insights
Track campaign performance, including reach, engagement, traffic, conversions, sales, customer acquisition cost, return on investment, and return on advertising spend.
Prepare regular campaign reports, dashboards, and performance recommendations.
Translate campaign data into clear insights and business recommendations.
Identify performance trends, risks, and growth opportunities.
Present campaign results and recommendations to leaders and relevant stakeholders.
Creative, Influencer, and Affiliate Performance
Work with the Marketing and Creative Teams to develop campaign materials.
Review which creatives, messages, formats, and offers perform best.
Provide recommendations on which campaign materials should be improved, continued, or discontinued.
Use promotional codes, UTM links, affiliate links, and other tools to track influencer and affiliate campaigns.
Measure the sales, conversions, cost per acquisition, and return generated by influencer campaigns.
Share performance insights to support future content development and influencer selection.
Stakeholder and Partner Collaboration
Work closely with Marketing, E-Commerce, Sales, Finance, Creative, Analytics, and other relevant teams.
Align campaign plans, budgets, timelines, sales targets, and expected results with internal stakeholders.
Coordinate with agencies, media platforms, influencers, affiliates, and vendors.
Provide regular updates on campaign performance, risks, issues, and opportunities.
Support product launches, promotions, seasonal campaigns, and other commercial activities.
Ensure campaigns comply with company policies, brand standards, data privacy requirements, and platform guidelines.
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business Administration, Communications, Digital Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience:
3+ years of proven experience in performance marketing, paid media, or growth marketing (agency or in-house).
Other Requirements:
Platform Expertise: Deep hands-on experience with Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, TikTok Ads Manager, and programmatic platforms.
E-Commerce Fluency: Proven track record managing on-platform advertising within Shopee, Lazada and Tiktok Shop.
Certifications (ideal): Meta Certified Media Buying/Planning Professional, Google Ads Certifications, and/or TikTok Academy certifications.
Analytical Mindset: Proficient in Google Analytics (GA4), Excel/Google Sheets, and data visualization tools (e.g., Looker Studio, PowerBI) with experience in data analytics and storytelling.
Agility: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and quickly pivot strategies based on platform changes and real-time performance.
