As a People Operations Lead, you’ll work closely with the APAC People Operations Manager, and your team to deliver efficient, localised, high-quality HR support. You’ll also play a senior role in shaping how the function grows by helping to build the regional roadmap and operational strategy. You’ll help shape how we work by driving change, optimizing and automating processes, and supporting continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of People Operations Specialists, providing coaching, guidance, and support to ensure high-quality HR service delivery.
  • Accountable for team performance, development, and engagement, creating a customer first culture.
  • Identify opportunities to automate, optimize, and streamline manual processes to improve efficiency, scalability and employee experience.
  • Lead and support change, continuous improvement, automation and optimization initiatives working closely with local and global stakeholders.
  • Oversee and personally handle complex employee lifecycle transactions, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
  • Take on senior People Operations work, acting as the main escalation point for sensitive or challenging employee inquiries and case resolution.
  • Manage and resolve ServiceNow HR service tickets (Tier 2), keeping resolution times within SLA targets.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support HR data integrity, audits, and compliance.
  • Own HR system testing cycles, enhancements, and feedback loops, working closely with HRIS or technical partners.
  • Use data and KPIs to spot trends, inform decisions, and improve service delivery.
  • Help shape best practices and contribute to the evolution of our People Operations function.
  • Support the development of the People Operations roadmap and operational strategy for the region, partnering closely with the APAC People Operations Manager to align priorities, sequencing, and future capability needs.
  • Provide senior level insight into operating model decisions, ensuring the team structure, processes, and tools support long term scalability.

Qualifications

  • University Degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of professional HR experience, with ideally at least 2 years in a team lead or supervisory role.
  • Advanced understanding of HR operations, policies, and systems, especially in large or global organizations.
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships across cultures.
  • Preferably with experience with HR Systems (Oracle (HRIS), Workday, Service Now)
  • Proven ability to manage competing priorities and drive outcomes with minimal oversight.
  • Experience leading Global operational HR projects or transformations.
  • Proactive mindset focused on continuous improvement and operational excellence.
  • Ability to think strategically while still being hands on, contributing to both day to day operations and long-term operational planning.
  • Willing to report on a Hybrid Set Up
