About The Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Payroll Tax and Accounting Analyst. This role will be based in 6750 Building, Makati City, Philippines.
Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To, The Following
Ensures that all payroll entries for completed payroll runs are posted in the relevant accounting system accurately and timely including accruals, cost re-direction or charge outs, cost analysis, etc.
Processes payroll taxes and statutory contributions which includes validation of tax amounts, reporting/filing of tax returns and payment to government tax authorities of the supported country.
This role requires analysis of payroll transactions, reconciliation of data, resolution of discrepancies, coordination with external and internal partners and preparation and validation of tax returns, and funding of payroll disbursements.
Account reconciliation of general ledger accounts. Reconciliation requires active account analysis in accordance with established standards and maintains up-to-date procedural documentation and periodic presentation to management for review.
Additional finance and tax-related processes, which may include preparation of tax return amendments, research and respond to tax notices, respond to auditors and other inquiries, perform periodic and ad hoc analysis, participate in special projects, perform back-up role to support team members, and perform other tasks, as assigned.
Performance of internal controls and ensures that documentary evidence is available for review.
Handles internal inquiries and requests related to payroll tax and statutory benefits and accounting recordings and controls.
Strictly follows data privacy policies and protects the confidentiality of sensitive personal data of employees.
Identifies, collaborates, and implements process efficiencies/ improvements.
Learns and applies digital tools to automate manual processes.
Participates, as necessary, in internal corporate initiatives that impacts payroll processes.
Demonstration of strong written and oral communication skills through effective communication with internal and external customers, partners, peers and managers. Analyst may be asked to summarize detailed financial or tax analysis.
Provide decision support to other departments including operating companies, IT support, Legal, Expatriate Administration, Comptrollers, Payroll Accounting, Payroll Processing and all levels of management.

Required Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
Bachelors degree in accounting
Payroll and payroll tax experience
Good oral and written communication skills
Strong analytical, teamwork and customer engagement skills
Must have the propensity to work in a proactive, results-oriented, and customer-focused environment
Enjoys working with people of diverse cultural backgrounds·
Knows how to handle Sensitive Personal Data and abide with Data Privacy Law
Willing to be assigned to midshift schedule
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in SAP/JDE is an advantage, but not required
Minimum three years work experience
