Job Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Process and audit payroll for multiple states, including regular pay, bonuses, commissions, garnishments, and benefits deductions using ADP Workforce Now.
- Maintain payroll records and employee data accurately in accordance with company policy and regulatory standards.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local wage and hour laws, SOX controls, and payroll regulations.
- Evaluate and validate timesheets; investigate and resolve discrepancies with employees, supervisors, and HR.
- Respond to and resolve employee payroll inquiries with professionalism and timeliness.
- Generate, review, and interpret payroll reports for audits, management reporting, and funding purposes.
- Document and maintain payroll procedures; contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives.
- Partner with HR and Finance to support initiatives and ensure payroll integration aligns with business needs.
Education & Experience
- Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
- Minimum 5 years of payroll processing experience in a multi-state environment.
- Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now and advanced Microsoft Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
- Experience in Payroll support for the US, Canada and Mexico is preferred.
- Strong working knowledge of payroll law and compliance requirements.
- Ability to manage competing priorities, solve problems, and maintain confidentiality.
- Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to interpret data, analyze trends, and apply insights to business decisions.
- English Level: B2/B3
