The IWG Group is looking for a talented analytics professional to become our Operations Intelligence Analyst, reporting directly to the Group Operations Intelligence Manager.

Job Purpose

  • Execute analysis, modelling, and reporting for group centre costs to enable fact-based decisions and credible savings tracking
  • Produce consistent analytical outputs that support category strategy, tendering activity, and business cases across assigned categories and regions
  • Maintain clean, reliable datasets and repeatable analytical tools that reduce manual effort and improve decision quality


Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update driver-based models, savings baselines, and supporting datasets for assigned categories and regions
  • Prepare tender analytics for regional procurement activity, including should cost benchmarks, bid comparisons, and scenario outputs
  • Build draft business case models and benefits tracking files, including baseline logic and run rate calculations
  • Produce recurring reporting outputs and actionable insights across cost, savings delivery, compliance indicators, and variance drivers, and highlight exceptions for escalation
  • Perform structured variance analysis and data quality checks, propose and tests hypotheses, and recommend corrective actions
  • All other duties as requested by the line manager


Key Performance Indicators

  • Accuracy of models, analyses, and recurring reporting outputs delivered to agreed timelines
  • Data quality for assigned datasets, including completeness, consistency, and adherence to agreed definitions
  • Turnaround time for tender and business case analytical requests within agreed service levels
  • Level of automation and repeatability achieved in recurring reporting and analysis, reducing manual effort


Key Qualifications

Required Skills, Experience & Qualifications

  • Relevant experience in analytics, finance, economics, engineering, procurement or related discipline, ideally within a greenfield environment and with a multicultural setup


Technical Skills Or Knowledge

  • Strong analytical and modelling capability, including structured problem solving
  • Practical experience working with cost drivers, baselines, and benefits tracking
  • Strong data handling skills, including extracting, cleaning, validating, and reconciling data from multiple sources
  • Ability to create clear, decision ready analysis and summaries for non-technical stakeholders


Leadership Skills

  • A proven thinker-doer, equally comfortable writing strategy and driving outcomes with urgency
  • Prioritises well consistently delivers against tight deadlines
  • Team player with high level of professional integrity
  • Excellent analytical skills with a passionate attitude to problem solving
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and prepared to work in an agile and flexible way
  • Quick to adapt to changes in a demanding fast paced multicultural environment
